In the latest disturbing coronavirus news from Florida, health officials have revealed that nearly one-third of the state’s children who tested for COVID-19 have had positive results.

Of 54,022 children under the age of 18 who have been tested, 16,767 were found to be infected with COVID-19, according to the Florida Department of Health. Four children have died from the virus.

The news comes one day after Florida reported its second-deadliest day since the pandemic began as 133 people died on Tuesday.
