Judge Sworn Into Office In The Middle Of An Ultramarathon

Here’s a new one: an ultramarathon runner took a break in the middle of her race – to be sworn in as a Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice.

Jill Karofsky, who was elected to the state Supreme Court back in April, stopped at the 35-mile mark of the 100-mile race to take her oath of office.

Karofsky then continued on her way, later tweeting out a photo at mile 99 nearly 34 hours later.
