(NAPERVILLE, IL) — Naperville School District 203 is joining the growing list of schools that will require masks when classes resume this year.
The decision was made at a school board meeting Monday night even though the Department of Education has no mandate, instead leaving it up to individual school districts to make the call.
In District 203’s case, masks will be required for all students, faculty, and staff.
Last month Chicago Public Schools made the announcement that the district will require masks for both students and staff for the start of the school year.
