The Chicago Bears have locked up an integral part of their offense, as tight end Cole Kmet agreed to a four-year, $50 million contract extension on Wednesday.
The deal includes $32.8 million guaranteed and $20 million in new first-year cash. It comes on the first day of training camp practices at Halas Hall in Lake Forest.
