Probation for a man who bought a gun used to kill a 7 year old girl

The man who admitted to buying a gun that was used to kill a 7 year old in a McDonald’s drive thru in 2021 will not serve any jail time. Eric Keys Junior was sentenced in Indianapolis today to two years probation. Jaslyn Adams was killed and her father was wounded in the incident at the McDonald’s at Roosevelt Road and Kedzie Avenue in the Homan Square neighborhood. Keys was charged with making a false statement about buying a gun. Three men have been charged with Adams murder.
