Chicago’s new casino could open this weekend

The dice are rolling at Chicago’s temporary casino. Chicago’s first casino could be open as soon as this weekend if regulators give the green light following practice sessions starting today and tomorrow. There are already 750 slot machines and 50 table games inside the 111-year-old Medinah Temple at the temporary site in River North. Bally’s is building a permanent casino in River West which could take three years to build.
