Just in time for the holidays Covid cases on the rise in Illinois

Covid hospitalizations are up 17 percent compared to last week. The city of Chicago is averaging about one death a day from the virus. Several wastewater treatment facilities in the city have reported an increased detection of the virus. In Chicago almost a quarter of residents have received the most recent booster. Doctors recommend masking distancing hand washing and increased ventilation at gatherings to avoid a holiday surge. The state is also seeing an increase in RSV cases among children.
