Major changes coming at Metra this week

Starting Thursday Metra will go from a ten zone system to just four which will significantly change fares. There will no longer be a 100 dollar super saver monthly pass, instead passes will range in price from 75 to 135 dollars depending on how many zones you ride through. There will still be a day pass a one way ticket and a five day pack. you no longer will be able to buy a ticket at the station but you must use the Ventra app or vending machines.
