DePaul University cancels its end of year festival

DePaul University says the event known as FEST was cancelled due to the “current campus environment, “as the pro Palestinian encampment remains on the school’s quad. Students with tickets and guest tickets will be refunded. FEST was supposed to be held Friday. Over the weekend DePaul gave the protesters a deadline of noon Sunday to dismantle the encampment but Demonstrators say Negotiations are at an impasse after the school refused to meet their demands. protesters want the university to be transparent about investments in Israel.
