The Mayor’s budget is a disaster. Good news in its current form it shouldn’t pass, bad news the city needs to pass a budget by the end of the year. If no budget is passed by the end of the year the City would go into a receivership whereby the State of Illinois would be overseeing and approving city budgets for the next decade.
