President Donald Trump unleashed on the “Radical Left” in a pair of posts on his Truth Social platform on Monday.
In one, he laid out the tone of his thoughts on what he called interference with the U.S. court system.
“The Radical Left is only good at ‘playing the Ref,’ they are always threatening our Judges. This is Judicial Intimidation, and should be AGAINST THE LAW!”
He did not specify which instance of judicial intimidation he was referencing. But the president did expand in a second post where he reviewed the Supreme Court’s effect on his immigration policy.
“My team is fantastic, doing an incredible job, however, they are being stymied at every turn by even the U.S. Supreme Court, which I have such great respect for, but which seemingly doesn’t want me to send violent criminals and terrorists back to Venezuela, or any other Country, for that matter – People that came here illegally!”
Trump asserted he is doing what the majority of Americans voted for him to be able to accomplish. “I’m doing what I was elected to do, remove criminals from our Country, but the Courts don’t seem to want me to do that.”
Trump, however, said that not all judges should be questioned for their position on the future of America.
“Great Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito correctly wants to dissolve the pause on deportations. He is right on this! If we don’t get these criminals out of our Country, we are not going to have a Country any longer,” he wrote.
Trump said holding a separate court hearing for everyone who was allowed to enter the U.S. illegally is simply unworkable.
“We cannot give everyone a trial, because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years. We would need hundreds of thousands of trials for the hundreds of thousands of Illegals we are sending out of the Country. Such a thing is not possible to do. What a ridiculous situation we are in.”
Trump expressed frustration over what he sees as a shadow hanging over the judiciary to create roadblocks to his immigration policy. “The Courts are intimidated by the Radical Left who are, ‘playing the Ref.'”
