(Minneapolis, MN) — Anti-ICE protests broke out for a second day in Minneapolis after an ICE officer shot and killed a driver Wednesday. Officials say the woman, identified as 37-year-old Renee Good, allegedly attempted to run over ICE agents.
Within hours of the incident, a network of far-left protesters for causes ranging from communism to climate change mobilized across the country.
Some 2,000 ICE agents were recently dispatched to the Twin Cities to round up and deport illegal immigrant criminals.
The shooting remains under investigation but Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey describes the Trump administration’s description of what happened as “garbage.”
