While summer is still in full swing, Christkindlmarket organizers are already gearing up for the upcoming holiday season.
On Thursday, organizers announced that Christkindlmarket would be returning to three locations in 2026.
According to organizers, the original Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza will be celebrating its 30th year. The market will also be returning to Wrigleyville at Gallagher Way and Aurora’s RiverEdge Park.
All three admission-free locations are set to open to the public on Nov., 20, 2026.
Christkindlmarket Chicago at Daley Plaza
Located at 50 West Washington Street, Christkindlmarket Chicago at Daley Plaza will be open daily through December 24.
The market will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Special hours include Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, when the market will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Christkindlmarket Aurora at RiverEdge Park
For the fifth year, Christkindlmarket will be returning to Aurora at RiverEdge Park.
The Aurora Market will feature more than 60 vendors across RiverEdge Park’s expanded campus and be open daily through Dec. 24.
The market will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Special hours include Thanksgiving, when the market will run from 11 to 4 p.m., and Christmas Eve, when the market will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville at Gallagher Way
Christkindlmarket will also be returning to Wrigleyville at Gallagher Way for its eighth year.
The market will feature more than 28 vendors, including popular staples like Bob’s Belgian Hot Chocolate, The Nutcracker Haus and POOK, and will be open daily through Dec. 31.
The market will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Special hours include Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, when the market will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market is closed on Christmas Day.
The market will also have special hours between Monday, Dec. 21 and Wednesday, Dec. 23, when it will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., as well as Monday, Dec. 28 through Wednesday, Dec. 30, when it will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
