(TINLEY PARK) A crash closed the westbound lanes of I-80 in the south suburbs during Monday’s morning commute.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-80 at La Grange Road about 6 a.m., according to Illinois State Police.
All westbound lanes remained closed as of 7:15 a.m., but they were expected to reopen shortly, police said. Traffic was being diverted off the expressway at Harlem.
Police said at least one person was injured in the crash, but additional details were not immediately available.
