
(GURNEE) Police have a person of interest in custody after a domestic attack in north suburban Gurnee.
A police officer observed David M. Brocksom, 43, driving toward the Gurnee Police Department parking lot at 7:45 p.m. The officer pulled Brocksom’s car over and took him into custody “without incident,” police said.
At 9:25 a.m., officers were called to a report of an injured person found someone dead at the home in the 3700 block of Pacific Avenue, police said.
Authorities secured a perimeter around the house and told residents of the neighborhood to stay inside. Police did not find victims or suspects when they searched the home.
Police did not release other details on the death other than that it is thought to be domestic-related and is being investigated as a homicide.
