(LAKE COUNTY, IL) A case of Whooping Cough has parents on alert in Lake County.
Warren Township High School officials say a student has contracted whooping cough and alerted parents in a letter sent out last week.
It is the first reported case in Lake County schools this year. In 2015, the county reported 67 cases.
