Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner and Republicans in the state legislature are pushing a state takeover of the city of Chicago’s public school system. Rauner is saying that his onetime friend and ally Mayor Rahm Emanuel has “failed” to get the job done. Illinois Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno joined John to talk about the plan. A Chicago man is on a one-man mission to end “Dibs” in Chicago once and for all. He’s started a Kickstarter campaign to create signs that shame people who are putting dibs on parking spots. The signs would actually say “Trump Voters for Dibs: Because F— You.”
During a speech at a Donald Trump in Tulsa on Wednesday, Sarah Palin addressed her son Track’s domestic violence arrest. She said that he and many other soldiers “come back a bit different” because of President Obama’s policies and disrespect for veterans.

Florida has a problem with Pythons, and they are calling on people to hunt them down. They are an invasive species, much like the Asian Carp here in the midwest. John wants to take a group of listeners down there to do some hunting. Ron Magill a wildlife expert with Zoo Miami joined John to help him plan his python-hunting party. (Listen here)
It’s been a big week for Donald Trump, with former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin endorsing him. CNBC Senior Contributor Larry Kudlow joined John with reaction to the endorsement and also tried to talk John off the ledge on the stock market. (Listen here)
The Governor of Oregon has had it with the protesters at the wildlife refuge. She is threatening to bill the federal government for any damage and other expenses the state has to pay for because of the protesters. Federal, state and local law enforcement officers have been sent to the remote area but so far have avoided doing anything that might provoke a confrontation.
