(OAK FOREST) Three family members were found dead in their home Monday evening in south suburban Oak Forest.
Officers responding to a call for a well-being check at 7:57 p.m. in the 6600 block of Courtney Drive forced entry into the home and found three dead people inside, according to a statement from Oak Forest police.
Margaret Oleary-Joost, 55; David Joost, 54; and Daniel Joost, 18, who all lived in the home, were all pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday.
Police said the cause of the deaths remains under investigation Tuesday morning.
