The numbers just seem to keep getting worse. Chicago had 40 murders during the month of February. Chicago’s murder rate so far in 2016 is the worst in nearly two decades. Some experts are blaming the dramatic decrease in the number of street stops so far this year. Police are now required to full out much more paperwork for every street stop, in an effort to win back public trust in the wake of incidents like the Laquan McDonald shooting.

Mitt Romney is going to give a “major address” on the 2016 Presidential race in Utah on Thursday. Mitt’s minions say he is not jumping in the race, and he also won’t be endorsing anyone, but it will be “worth covering.” CNBC Senior Contributor Larry Kudlow joined John to talk about Romney’s speech. NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly is back on Earth after spending a full year on the International Space Station. Kelly and his Russian counterpart Mikhail Kornienko will be studied so scientists can get a better idea of what happens to human beings in zero gravity for long periods of time, in preparation for future missions to Mars and other destinations in deep space. Former NASA Astronaut Tom Jones, author of the new book “Ask An Astronaut” joined John to talk about what it’s like coming back from a long stay in space. (Listen here)

Chick-fil-a wants you to put down your phone and enjoy some family time while you’re eating your delicious chicken. About 150 of their restaurants have added “cell phone coops” to their tables. Everyone puts their phones on silent and puts them in the coop, if they can make it through the whole meal without it, everyone gets a free small ice cream cone.
