Last night was “Super Tuesday Two” and it ended up being a great night for Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. John Kasich rallied this week but ultimately finished third. Meanwhile on the other side of the aisle, Bernie Sanders won Michigan despite having been down as much as 20 points in the polls. Last week, Donald Trump said he was looking forward to his Friday rally in Chicago. But he may not get the warmest welcome if protesters have their way. Following news of his rally last week, protesters started mobilizing. First, a Facebook event popped up and immediately had thousands of RSVPs. Organizers told those opposed to the GOP presidential frontrunner to show up at the UIC Pavilion, 525 S. Racine Ave., Friday and not only protest outside — but snag tickets and get inside.
Donald Trump on Tuesday addressed criticism of a new practice at his rallies that has been compared to the “Heil” salute from Nazi Germany. Trump is dismissing the controversy as “ridiculous” but did say that he would look into ending it.
The city council did give Emanuel permission to seize the Old Main Post Office through eminent domain. The current owner does now say that they are on the verge of lining up a partner to redevelop the site.

Republicans ran into a little trouble when they tried to tie Tammy Duckworth to problems at the VA. An official account tweeted that she hasn’t “stood up” for vets. Duckworth is a double amputee.
A restaurant in Colorado has decided to hop on the Revenant bandwagon. They are offering people the chance to eat raw bison liver.
NASA says the asteroid passed by Earth without incident on Tuesday. It ended up missing us by about 3 million miles, so pretty close in space terms, but not worth losing any sleep over. There are other asteroids out there to worry about, though.
