(CHICAGO) Three outbound lanes were shut down on the Kennedy Expressway early Thursday after a semi crashed into a wall in the Avondale neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The crash happened about 2:40 a.m. on outbouns I-90/94 near Kimball, according to Illinois State Police.
No injuries were reported in the crash, police said. There was a “minor fuel spill” from the semi, but it has since been cleaned up.
The three right lanes remained closed as of 4 a.m. as crews waited for heavy equipment to tow the semi away.
