(HOFFMAN ESTATES) At least one person was seriously injured in a crash on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway early Thursday near northwest suburban Hoffman Estates.
The two-vehicle crash happened on westbound I-90 at mile post 63.5 about 12:53 a.m., according to a statement from Illinois State Police. Police referred to the incident as a “serious personal injury crash,” although it was not immediately clear how many people were hurt.
All westbound lanes were closed as of 1:52 a.m., and traffic is being directed to Route 53, police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation, police said.
