(CHICAGO) A woman was fatally struck by a CTA Blue Line train on the Northwest Side Tuesday night, police said.
The 30-year-old was struck by a train about 9 p.m. at the Harlem station, police said. She was dead at the scene, police said.
The CTA suspended Blue Line service between the Rosemont and Jefferson Park stations as emergency crews remained on scene at the station in the 5500 block of North Harlem. Shuttle buses were set up to take passengers between the two stations as of 9 p.m.
