(CHICAGO) The Chicago Bulls will tip off the 2016-17 campaign, and the 51st season in team history, on Oct. 27 at the United Center when they host the Boston Celtics in their season opener. The game will be heard on WLS-AM 890.
Chicago will take to the road for the first time on Oct. 31, as the team travels to Brooklyn to take on the Nets at the Barclays Center, with a tip time scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (CT).
Other prominent home games on this season’s schedule include: the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Dec. 2 and March 30, the New York Knicks on Nov. 4, the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 8, the Miami Heat on Dec. 10 and Jan. 27, the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 13, the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 7 and Feb. 14, the Oklahoma City Thunder on Jan. 9, a second tilt with the Celtics on Feb. 16, the Golden State Warriors on March 2 and the Los Angeles Clippers on March 4.
For the seventh straight season, Chicago will play on the League’s holiday stage with a Christmas Day matinee at San Antonio. The game, which will air at 4 p.m. (CT).
All Chicago Bulls pre-season and regular season games will be heard on WLS-AM 890.
