(CHICAGO) US Senate, challenger Tammy Duckworth is mocking Sen Mark Kirk for changing his mind so many times about who he’ll write-in for president.
Down in Springfield, for Democrat Day at the State Fair, Duckworth mocked Kirk with a new suggestion for who he should write-in instead of Trump.
“Who Mark Kirk decides or doesn’t decide, or maybe he’ll just stand there confused, scratching his head on election day on who he’s gonna write-in. I suggest Capt Crunch since he’s committed to military commanders, except Capt Crunch is not a real captain! If you look at the bars on his uniform, he’s actually a lieutenant. So he’s lied about his military record. But then again, so has Kirk!”
WLS City Hall reporter Bill Cameron says Kirk did once concede he exaggerated his military service by reportedly saying “I mis-remembered it wrong.”
