(MILWAUKEE) Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson defeated former US Senator Russ Feingold, who was the heavy favorite. With 71 percent of all precincts reporting, Johnson leads with 52% of the vote compared to Feingold;s 45%. Analysts believe Johnson’s win helps ensure the Republicans will maintain control of the Senate.
