(CHICAGO) In northern Indiana, police say foul play is suspected after two bodies were found along a creek.
The bodies were found during a search for Liberty German and Abigail Williams, both 13-years-old from Carroll County, who went missing Monday.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Kim Riley says the bodies were found along Deer Creek east of Delphi. He is not commenting on any injuries to the bodies or ages.
“You believe what you can and then we have to go with the truth that we have so that’s what we’re working on.”
But he said the search for the two missing 13-year-old girls had been scaled back.
Riley says the bodies were found not far from an abandoned railroad bridge where the two girls had been dropped off Monday. They were reported missing hours later.
