(GARY, INDIANA) Sometimes police work takes months of investigation, talking to witnesses and laboratory tests and results. And then sometimes, police work takes a s;ightly opened door, and that’s it.
Gary police were in the 2600 block of Jackson street when they saw a suspicious person. They followed at a distance, and saw him go into a garage. He did not close the door tightly…in fact, it was open just a bit. And that’s when police smelled pot, and looked in on a lab where some guys were making synthetic cannabis. Narc officers came, a warrant was obtained, and just like that two people were taken into custody, and 88 pounds of what is called canabinoids was taken.
