(CHICAGO) A suburban father is going through an unimaginable loss.
The car his wife, Lindsey Schimdt, was driving, was struck by the driver of a pick-up truck. Police say the pick-up driver ran through a stop sign at Corning and Yates in Beecher.
Lindsey Schmidt, who was pregnant, and her almost 2-year old boy Kaleb were pronounced dead at the scene.
Four-year old Weston and 6-year old Owen were put into medically induced comas. Weston died on Tuesday night and now comes word that his older brother passed away early Thursday morning.
The family had been heading to vacation bible school when the crash occurred.
Charges are pending against the 25-year old Manteno man who was driving the pick-up. He suffered a deep cut to his arm.
