(CHICAGO) A man arrested in Mexico has been returned to the Chicago area to face charges that he killed his ex-wife.
Nancy Bustos, 36, was found dead in 2011, in the Glen Ellyn apartment that she shared with Juan Granados, 39, and their two children. Her body was discovered after someone asked police to do a well-being check.
Juan Granados disappeared after the murder, a warrant was issued and he was arrested, in Mexico, in June 2016. He is currently being held in the DuPage County Jail and faces multiple charges including first-degree murder, aggravated criminal sex assault and criminal sex assault.
Bond has been denied for Granados who is due back in court on October 4th.
