(CHICAGO) In Washington, there now may be enough votes to pass Trumpcare in the Senate and some are saying Governor Rauner is walking a very fine line in reacting to it.
Illinois would lose out on more than a billion dollars of federal healthcare aid with Trumpcare, but Rauner doesn’t want to offend Trump supporters downstate, so he says, “I have expressed by concerns to members of Congress and the administration about the changes to the Affordable Care Act and the very negative impact it would have on the people of Illinois”
Democrats say Rauner’s not saying nearly enough to try to prevent Trumpcare.
