(DETROIT) The top-selling truck is being recalled because of a possible door problem.
Ford is recalling some 1.3 million 2015 to 2017 F-150 and 2017 Super Duty vehicles because in some a frozen door latch or bent or kinked cable may cause a door to not open or close. The door may appear closed but the latch may not fully engage increasing the risk of injury.
Ford says it’s not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.
Dealers will install water shields over door latches and inspect and repair door latch cables if necessary.
