(HAMMOND, IN) Darren Vann, 46, of Gary, Indiana is accused of killing seven women and his trial date for two of those murders has been delayed.
Vann is charged with killing Afrikka Hardy, 19, in October 2014. Her body was found in a Hammond hotel bathtub. That same month, the body of Anith Jones, 35, was found in an abandoned Gary house.
The trial had been scheduled to start next March but will now start with jury selection in September 17, 2018. Opening statements start on October 22, 2018.
Vann could face the death penalty if convicted of the murders.
