(CHICAGO) The City Council meets today, and coming up, the aldermen will be approving annual sexual harassment training for themselves, for the mayor, city clerk and treasurer, for city employees and for members of boards. It’s on-line training once a year and in addition to that, bosses will have to get in-person training every four years.
One of the new features in the training will be to not only watch what you do, but what you say. One rule will be, if you wouldn’t say it to a man, don’t say it to a woman.
Also on the city council agenda, a $31M legal settlement for four men who did time for rape and murder but were cleared by DNA.
