(CHICAGO) Word of Paul Vallas possibly launching a challenge to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, prompted Chicago State University trustees to spring to action.
They have voted to end the chief administrative officer’s contract, which had at least 6 months left on it.
Paul Vallas, the former Chicago Schools CEO, lost a bid for Illinois Governor in 2002 and another one for Lieutenant Governor in 2014.
