(CHICAGO) In the race for Illinois Attorney General, 9 of the 10 candidates debated this afternoon for the Chicago Bar Association.
While many of the candidates were bashing each other for taking big campaign contributions from special interests they would oversee, candidate Renato Mariotti simply said this, “Isn’t it something when politicians debate amongst themselves who’s the least-ethically challenged?”
And St Rep Scott Drury said this, “As a citizen, not as a candidate, listening to this debate, it’s disgusting!”
The body language at this debate made it apparent that these candidates don’t like each other .
