(CHICAGO) A cab driver is due in bond court today on charges that he sexually abused a woman who got into his cab last weekend.
Chicago police say when a 24-year old woman hailed Murasbek Elchiev’s cab early Saturday morning in River North he started driving and then locked the doors and grabbed her. She was able to escape and report the alleged attack to police.
On Saturday afternoon, the cab driver, who is from Niles, was tracked down to a parking lot at O’hare airport. He has been charged with felony counts of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and unlawful restraint.
