(CHICAGO) Mayor Emanuel has another challenger in next February’s election. African-American entrepreneur Willie Wilson is running against Rahm again.
Willie Wilson got about 10% of the vote against Mayor Emanuel in 2015 but says he’ll do a lot better this time because of Rahm’s record.
“This mayor raised taxes something like eight times,” Wilson says, “The violence situation is out of control. Economic development and empowerment and tax dollars are not being shared equally in all 77 communities.”
Wilson added that he’s vowing to hold town halls in all 77 of those neighborhoods.
