(CHICAGO) In the campaign for mayor of Chicago, candidate Willie Wilson is back in action!
Willie Wilson loves to call media members up to his Wacker Dr penthouse apartment and hold forth, saying “All right now, quiet on the set!”
On this occasion, Wilson announced he was blowing the caps off the contribution limits in the campaign for mayor by giving himself $100,000.
“It’s kinda makin’ a fair playin’ field,” said Wilson, “It’s kinda like one of those football teams out there. If they weight me down with a hundred pound weight and nobody else got it, who do ya think gonna get there first?”
Wilson also came out for paving over the Northerly Island park and putting Meigs Field back on it, noting “Well, look, I’d rather have jobs than a park that nobody hardly using it.”
