(CHICAGO) Where is the latest candidate for mayor Lori Lightfoot on the issues?
On the issues, Lori Lightfoot is a progressive, as in the state income tax. “I will support the shift to a proposed state income tax.”
The property tax: “And of course there is the rigged property tax system.”
Schools: “Filthy and unsafe”
The school board: “I support an elected school board.”
Police reform: “The progress has been way too slow.”
Solving murders: “We must immediately address the abysmal homicide clearance rate.”
On the question of whether Rahm covered up the LaQuann McDonald video until he was re-elected? “I don’t care where ya go, people think that video was suppressed.”
