According to the State Department, it’s been confirmed that one additional U.S. Embassy worker has been affected by mysterious health incidents in Cuba.
The new medically confirmed case now brings the total to 25. Prior to this, the most recent confirmed case from Cuba had been in August 2017. All of the confirmed Cuba patients have experienced a range of symptoms, including mild traumatic brain injury, also known as concussions. U.S. medical teams are also screening Americans who worked in a southern Chinese city with similar symptoms.
