On the night of July 27th and the early morning hours of July 28th, those in the Eastern Hemisphere will be treated to something quite special.
It will be their chance to witness both the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century and a Blood Moon.
Astronomers expect the total eclipse to last for a full 1 hour and 43 minutes, with the partial eclipse lasting for 3 hours and 55 minutes.
Will you catch the spectacle online via live streams from the Virtual Telescope Project and timeanddate.com?
