(CHICAGO) North Lake Shore Dr. is expected to be a mess Thursday afternoon around 4 because another traffic-disrupting march is expected there, then heading across Belmont and up Clark to Wrigley Field.
The demand of this march is for Mayor Emanuel and Police Supt Johnson to resign, and the leader, former Willie Wilson campaign manager Greg Livingston is wrapping himself in Dr. King and Ghandi.
“Well, here’s the thing in terms of Dr. King and Ghandi,” said Livingston, “The idea was to fill the jails. Now everybody with us doesn’t have to go to jail, but for those that want to go, once we fill the jails up, what are you gonna do with the rest of us?”
Livingston won’t say whether he’ll attempt to march into Wrigley Field on game day. He says he wants that to be a surprise.
