(CHICAGO) On the Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination, Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) is part of the push to get more information on the nominee.
Senate Democrats want more documents on Kavanaugh’s record than Republicans are willing to give them.
Tammy Duckworth says Kavanaugh could step up on this, “If he truly has nothing to hide, why would he not come forward and say release all of my documents? Release all my documents, let everybody see. If he has nothing to hide, why would he be complicit with this administration in hiding all of this paper that is out there. Literally a million pages of documentation that shows why he’s not suited to be on the Supreme Court.”
But the other side says the Democrats have access to more than enough documents to cast an informed vote on the Kavanaugh nomination.
