The Labor Department says more Americans are working than ever before with only 203,000 people filing for first-time unemployment benefits last week.
That’s the lowest total in nearly 49 years while Moody’s Analytics latest private payrolls report shows the nation’s private sector added 163,000 new jobs last month.
Officials who put the numbers together say it still reflects a strong job market, as the economy continues moving toward full employment.
