Imagine having to take out a gigantic mortgage for an amazing whiskey? The 60-year-old Macallan Valerio Adami 1926 sold for a record-breaking $1.1 million.
The bottle of booze is described as the “holy grail” of whiskey. Prior to this, the record was held by another bottle of The Macallan Valerio Adami 1926 which was sold at Bonhams Hong Kong in May.
