Reports of sexual assaults on airplanes have certainly risen over the last year. One particular case has Delta Airlines on the defensive.
Delany Luh has filed a federal lawsuit against Delta. She claims she was molested by another passenger that had been overserved alcohol on her flight last June.
The 23-year-old had just dozed off when she woke to a man placing his hand down her pants while exposing himself. Luh told CBS : “I’m like, ‘get up! get up!’ I’m like, ‘What are you doing touching me? What is your problem?’ I’m like, ‘oh my god! Somebody help me!’
Luh says she complained to flight attendants. She adds that they moved her to another seat while promising her to address the situation. They also let Luh deplane first. She then filed a report.
