The impact of Hurricane Florence was felt in today’s report from the Labor Department with the jobless rate continuing to fall as well.
Nonfarm payrolls rose 134,000 after a 270,000 gain the prior month and average hourly earnings climbed 2.8 percent from a year earlier.
The jobless rate falling to 3.7% puts unemployment at its lowest level since 1969.
