Brett Kavanaugh will likely be confirmed to the Supreme Court on Saturday, but Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyers are still speaking out.
On Friday, Ford’s attorneys called the FBI’s one-week investigation into Ford’s claims of sexual assault a “sham” with “numerous false claims”.
The statement calls out the fact that the FBI did not interview either Ford or Kavanaugh for its supplemental probe, calling it “not a credible investigation”.
The Senate’s final vote on Kavanaugh is scheduled for Saturday evening after an all-night debate in the Senate. Kavanaugh is expected to pass by a 51-49 margin.
