A bombshell story came out in The New York Times on Wednesday alleging that President Trump routinely uses insecure iPhones when calling friends and associates and that foreign agents are spying on his conversations.
In an effort to refute the report, Trump took to his favorite social media platform on Thursday morning calling it Fake News and tweeting, “I rarely use a cellphone, & when I do it’s government authorized.”
However, certain Twitter apps let users know from which platform a message was sent, and in the case of Trump, his missive was sent using an iPhone.
The Times report noted that the President has two phones, one for tweeting and other apps, plus one for calls.
